Little did I know back in 1984 when we took the hike and got lost for a while that some day Joel would be in possession of the paintings that his grandpa did of the area of the hike and that he would be telling this story to his kids and his brothers' kids ... or that there would be so many kids! haha! i would have loved to have been there to hear the story as Joel remembers it.
